Garter Broken Rib in the Round

Nice broken rib in the round, broken with a row of garter stitch.

I don't know if this is a well established stitch, but I did 'make it up' myself.

CO a multiple of 4 stitches.
Join the work and place a marker.
K3, P1 for 2 rounds.
Purl one round.
Repeat these three rows.



Here's a hat I made using Spar Kjøp's Super Bulky Naturgarn Soft yarn and 6mm needles. It's a basic 60 stitch beanie.
The ribbing is a K3,P1 rib to go with the pattern.

Below is a hat knitted with the same super bulky yarn 8mm needles.
